Freedom Of Speech

Freedom of speech and the internet. Today there really is no thing as freedom of speech. Society now a days has become so obssessed about what people are saying about them they will do whatever they can to get back at them. If our speech is so free than why are we getting sued for expressing what we believe is true and is our opinion. If we wish to say what is on our mind that is our right, no matter if it is public or private the constitution says freedom of speech not freedom to private speech.

    i agree people are entitled to there opinion, but when it makes a lie about someone or something that was not said then you can get yourself into trouble. just watch what you say and then you should not have any complaints about your freedoms

    I completley agree. You have the right to say what you want but you might have to pay the consequences for it.

    If we had the "Right" and have Freedom of Speech, then we wouldn't have to pay the consequences... we are losing that right and will probably fall into a propaganda society.
